We all met up over the weekend to continue working on modelling while also developing the layout of our game within Unity. We shared a collaborative Unity project between 3 of our members and created 3 scenes. On one scene, one member laid out terrain in the general shape and scale of how we envisioned our stages to look together in the world. On another, one member worked on importing models and to create the basic look and feel of our world before lighting and texturing. On the third, one member experimented with coding and implementing the VR controls within the project. The other 3 members worked on modelling, character design iteration, and slight narrative modifications.
At the end of this meetup, we realized that Unity Collaborate does not work on the school computers’ version of Unity. Because of this, we moved our scenes into one project and decided to proceed working on the final version one person at a time (while others worked on things to be imported into the master project later).
